So....Just got back from a long weekend camping on the isle of wight.. Whilst there I was pondering how I was going to have enough space to put this canoe togeather.........
I have there fore taken over half the garden and designated it a no-dog no-girl zone....(we will see how long that lasts!)
Was hoping to do one side all at once but not really enough space and I would prefer not to squash in and mess it up. (Found a use for the weights set that has been in one of the sheds for a few years!)
All lined up, clamped to the stands I built at either end, clamped to the table, weighted down...should be enough
Epoxy and tape on. The epoxy didn't go as thick as I though it would, was more runny than I expected, but it still felt thick when I brushed it on. Made sure the tape had no bubbles and tried not to over kill the epoxy as the whole lot will be covered eventually anyway.Two 'plunges' of each bottle from china wind yachts MAS epoxy was enough to cover the photo above
